Thank you to everyone that took the time to enter our virtual bake-off competition last month. We received some truly outstanding photos and were completely blown away by your creativity!
The Estate Office team had an incredibly tough time choosing a winner. So much so that we have decided to include extra prizes for second place and best Easter bake.
We are delighted to announce that the first prize of a £30 Amazon voucher goes to Sarah Miller from PPD with her 'dippy Easter egg and PPD soldiers'. Otherwise known as chocolate orange cake with meringue icing and lemon curd.
Sarah's spectacular creation is pictured above, and I'm sure you'd agree the creativity level is second to none. I'm told it tasted pretty amazing too!
Our thoroughly deserving runner up is Hannah Neale from Sosei Heptares for her ingenious 'mini macaron burgers'. We still can't get over how much they looked like real burgers!
Finally, our prize for best Easter bake goes to Rebecca Polson from Alzheimer's Research UK for her perfectly executed traditional Simnel cake. Congratulations to you all.
We've got our fingers crossed that next time we hold a bake-off we get to try the bakes too!
