Park Culture

Granta Park has a great community feel with many social events taking place throughout the year.  We have a monthly newsletter promoting news and updates, as well as information on travel initiatives and events, for those that work on the Park.

We have a busy year ahead with the completion of our new office building on Site 6, construction of Illumina’s new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters and the completion of our new Amenities Building.

Our fortnightly Farmers’ Market continues throughout the Summer, and we plan to host our very first ‘Granta Park, It’s a Knock Out’ competition.  Sports tournaments this year include rounders, football, volleyball and touch rugby as well as our annual charity sports day in August and Santa Run in December.

If wildlife is more your thing, then you are in good company. Granta Park has a partnership with Abington Naturewatch whereby volunteers from across the Park report wildlife sightings for inclusion in the group’s annual report. We run events with The Wildlife Trust, such as our annual Bat Safari, as well as more informal initiatives such as the bug hotel building.

  • Located in the McClintock Building, the café is open daily and offers a wide selection of hot and cold food, Italian coffee and a range of cakes, snacks, drinks and freshly baked food.

  • The Discovery Café has recently been extended to accommodate extra seating during busy periods. The space can also be turned into a meeting room for use by companies based on Granta Park by use of bi-folding doors. Perfect for breakfast meetings, lunchtime team meetings or those all day events where all your catering needs are taken care of for you.

  • The Amenity Building, due for completion at the end of 2017, will have a state-of-the-art fitness suite with full gym training facilities, squash and tennis courts, a three lane swimming pool and a healthy food cafeteria and juice bar. In the meantime read on for information with regards to our current Fitness Suite.

  • Granta Park Montessori Nursery accepts children aged from birth to five years for day care and pre-school, and up to eight years for out of school club.

  • Granta Park has a gated entrance and 24-hour security in operation 365 days a year. With regular park patrols and the latest security measures in place, everyone working or visiting can enjoy a secure environment. If you need to contact Security please call 01223 891 369.

  • For your convenience, a FREE ATM is located at the Discovery Café in the McClintock building.

  • A fortnightly Farmers Market is held outside of the McClintock Building, selling fresh produce and a wide assortment of hand-made food and crafts.

  • Free to join, Granta Park’s car share scheme is a great way to set up a lift share with other staff members commuting to Granta Park. Granta Park has its own dedicated car share website which offers members a quick, easy and secure way to make contact with each other.

On-site Management

The professional on-site team is available on a daily basis. We work closely with the current occupiers and continually seek ways to improve life at Granta Park, such as arranging events to help companies network and collaborate, as well as coordinating sports and social programmes. We provide a depth of experience in managing the Park and its development with a concern for health and safety, the natural environment, our neighbours and investors.
